Code of Conduct
The club formally adopts the ‘Child Protection Policy’ as approved by
The Football Association.
EastlandsFootball Club is committed to creating and preserving the safest possible environment for children to play football.
Any act, statement, conduct or other matter, which harms a child or children, or poses or may pose a risk of harm to a child or children, shall constitute behaviour, which is improper and brings the game into disrepute.
It is the duty of all committee members, club officials, managers, coaches, trainers and any other individuals directly or indirectly involved in the club, to be aware of, and help prevent the abuse that children can suffer whether neglect, emotional, physical or sexual.
EastlandsFootball Club accepts that the children’s welfare is paramount, and children, whatever their age, culture, ability, gender or religion, have the right to protection from abuse.
All suspicions and allegations of abuse will be taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately. All information will be treated in the strictest confidence.
Any individual convicted or made the subject of a caution in respect of an offence, or an investigation by the police, social services or any other information which causes the club to reasonably believe that an individual poses or may pose a risk of harm to a child or children, the club committee shall have the authority to impose the suspension of any individual from all specific involvement in football activity within the club, including attending the club’s general meetings, or specific general meetings.
EastlandsFootball Club will notify The Football Association of any individual who is the subject of an investigation by the police, social services or any other authority relating to an offence.
We also have a code of conduct for the club and also one for footballing activities. The club is governed by a full committee who meet to decide the structure and activities of the club .
