Eastlands JFC Constitution


1. The Club shall be called ‘Eastlands Junior Football Club’ or ‘Eastlands JFC’.
2. The colours of the Club will be claret and blue, with any suitable colours forming an alternative strip.
3. The aims of the Club are to:
a. promote the sport to boys and girls of all ages;
b. to foster the ideals of sportsmanship and fair play; and
c. to present the sport to the public in safe and genial surroundings, with a relaxed atmosphere so that all can participate in the enjoyment.
4. The Club shall endeavour at all times to create and promote a harmonious relationship with the residents and community in the vicinity of the Club.
5. The Club will be affiliated to the Birmingham County Football Association Ltd. The Club shall have an open membership register for yearly enrolment, and a determined fee, if any, will be set by the Club Committee.
6. The Club will be administered by an Executive Committee whose officers shall be: Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Club Secretary, Treasurer and Child Protection Officer.
7. There will be an Annual General Meeting for the purpose of:
a. electing officers and members of the Committee;
b. presentation of a statement of audited accounts; and
c. alterations of rules.
The date for the AGM will be issued with twenty one days’ notice and the agenda for this meeting will be issued with fourteen days’ notice.
8. In the event of the Club terminating, all kit and equipment shall be held by the Club Secretary for future use, in the event of the Club reforming for the purposes of football.
9. The Club will have public liability insurance.
10. The Club shall hold a Presentation Event each year which will take place on the 2nd weekend in June.
